about

JAM Music is an Alberta-based artist management and development company focused on strategic planning, releases, and career development for independent artists.
Founded by Jessica Marsh in 2017, the company works closely with artists across a range of projects and stages. Jessica currently manages Shaela Miller and Amelie Patterson, and also consults with artists on releases, funding, and overall career strategy.
Jessica is known for bringing people together through collaboration, mentorship, and project-based work. Her approach is rooted in building strong teams, supporting creative development, and helping projects move forward with clarity and intention.
Based in Edmonton since 2008, Jessica studied Music and later Arts and Cultural Management at MacEwan University, where she went on to teach as a sessional instructor. She brings over a decade of experience across artist management, label operations, touring, and live events, having worked with Alberta Music and festivals such as Salmon Arm Roots and Blues and the Edmonton Folk Music Festival.
Her work spans release strategy, team building, grant writing, and artist development, and she regularly contributes as a mentor and speaker through programs such as Canada's Music Incubator AE West program, Alberta Music’s industry bootcamps, the Canadian Songwriting Camp in PEI, and the Alberta Country Music Awards. She is proud to contribute to Western Canada’s music industry and the artists who shape it.
